MotherForest’s Theory of Impact is based on three elements of regeneration and two encompassing principles that hold its integrity.

It might sound simple, but we invite you to explore this idea with your heart

Land is the feminine body from which all life springs. Regenerating the soil, stewarding land, restoring water cycles, composting and protecting indigenous rights are some ways we create impact through this element.

Guiding principle: Interconnectedness with all things

Currency of regeneration: Land Stewardship or Regeneration

Land relates to the human body, our planet, ecosystems, the gut biome, the biosphere, the plants in your garden and what you eat.

Wisdom is the recognition of the value of our time, stories, our gifts, skills, intuitions and the value of the ones who came before. Wisdom creates impact through storytelling, skills sharing and connecting technology and culture with wisdom from nature and ancient traditions.

Guiding principle: Reciprocity

Currency of regeneration: Time

Wisdom relates to the human mind, stories, consciousness, the mycelium, A.I technology and knowledge

Love is the element of care, the thread that weaves and holds together communities, families and any interpersonal relationship that makes society possible. The impact of love is subtle and at the same time the most transformative force we can encounter.

Guiding principle: Generosity

Currency of regeneration: Care

Love relates to the human heart, communities, social justice, solidarity, relationships and emotional healing.

Now imagine a community or a business being in right relationship with Nature, valuing wisdom and exchanging skills while cultivating connections of love and trust.

MotherForest believes the principles of Trust and Right Relationship are the movement that brings these possibilities into reality.

Trust is the fertile soil that creates and sustains all relationships, whether comunal, economic, or personal.

By restoring trust in ourselves and others we can regenerate communities, business and ecosystems.

Right Relationship draws on the Indigenous notion of 'all my relations' and is a way of being that is grounded in respectful reciprocity, solidarity and interconnectedness with all of creation - including yourself, other people, plants, animals, cultures, and ecosystems.

From knowing to doing

Here’s how MotherForest is exploring its Theory of Impact in action and how you can join the movement:

Every season MotherForest works on an impact project that explores how technology can be a force of Regeneration and Right Relationship.

This spring we are launching a Photography Collection that shares the power and wisdom of three indigenous healers of the Amazon Forest.
